Kids Say the Darndest Things

We had a BBQ this year for Memorial day with some friends and family. We love to eat chicken, and sometimes we’ll occasionally grill hot dogs for the kids. We all brought our own meat to grill to the BBQ and were about done eating when Gabe asked me a very sad question, “Can I have one of those circle meat things? I don’t know what they’re called.” … it was a hamburger! How does my child not know what a hamburger is?

Kids Say the Darndest Things

As I was taking a shower today, I heard a knock at the door. Gabriel was standing outside trying to tell me something. I couldn’t hear him, and let him know that he would just have to wait until I was done. When I stepped out, I noticed a paper on the floor. I couldn’t quite figure out what it meant, or why he would be giving it to me.

He had copied the words off of an old photo of Titus and I at our prom. It was a very nice memory with my husband, so yes; they were definitely words of love.
