We were getting ready to drive away from the house when Gabriel says to me, “Mom, can you just stop? I need to tell you something.” I turned around, with a smile on my face, waiting patiently to drive away, “Okay, Gabriel, what do you need?” And he says the sweetest thing, “I just want you to know how glad I am that you’re in my life.”
